Item Description -
NOTE: Very Important. This motor uses shims to properly set the meshing of the gears. Please follow the procedures in your service manual. Failure to do so will chip the teeth and destroy the motor. We may have some shims available so ask.

Extremely Rare Good Used 1.5 Horsepower, 36 Volt, 2800 rpm electric Motor for 1966 to 1971 Harley Davidson model DE and DEC with 4 tooth Tapered Spiral Tooth output gear on drive end and a 3/4" output shaft for a disc brake on the other end +++ Also
for 1965 to 1971 E-Z-GO +++ Also early 436 and 437 model Westinghouse Marketeer with tapered axles +++ Also 1971 to 1974 Melex models 102 and 202.
NOTE: There are both 4 tooth and 3 tooth tapered gear motors out there. Make sure yours has 4 and is a 1.5 hp motor.
